auDA has notified us that there will be a Registry migration next weekend.
As per their notice at https://www.auda.org.au/news/registry-maintenance-period-30-june-2018-1-july-2018/
"The .au registry will undergo a maintenance period to transition services between registry operators.
The maintenance period is scheduled for
08:00 AEST, Saturday 30 June 2018 until 20:00 AEST, Sunday 1 July 2018.
Internet users should not notice any difference as the DNS will operate uninterrupted. However, registrants will not be able to be create, renew or change domain names during the maintenance period."
in addition to this the new Registry Operator Afilias has informed us that no domains will be deleted from the Registry for up to 14 days after go live so there will not be daily aucitons for the first two weeks of July 2018.
The have warned that if the migration goes smoothly they might start deleting domains at short notice but we will email you if this does happen.
As an extra precaution we are also going to suspend our Transfer (Change of Registrant) processes from Wed 27/6/2018 until at least Wed 4/7/2018 to allow us to ensure that all our data is fully synchronised with the new Registry before we start processing Change of Registrant's again.
Afilias has also advised that all Auth Codes will be reset after the migration as a security precaution. auDA has agreed to suspend the requirement for us to email Registrants with the new passwords immediately following the migration but you will be able to recover your Auth Codes at your convenience after the migration via the Drop interface.
We do not yet have a URL for the official drop list but would expect it to still be published on the auDA website at the same location as currently.
Please contact email@example.com if you encounter any issues.
